For us that call the Gulf coast home, we know that the unwanted red tide is a natural occurrence and may rear it’s ugly head annually. For tourists, they do not know what it is nor do they expect to experience it when spending vacation here in this beautiful place. Here are a few points to help understand red tide, but unfortunately it does not make it easier for any of us to bear especially when seeing all the loss of life as it washes up on our beaches. We can all hope that a cure is soon to be found.
